The Home Buying Process

The first step in most buyers' journeys is to sit down with a trusted Realtor and get to know who you may be working with throughout your home buying journey. Personality and trust go a long way here, as well as market knowledge. We've got both!

If you don't already have one, your Realtor is a great resource for finding a good lender. We've seen hundreds of lenders through our career and might give you the best experience with your loan process.

We will give you access to the MLS new listing alerts so you'll receive automatic updates when a new property enters the market that matches your criteria, but you have access to a lot of the data we have! We view finding the home as a collaborative effort and we will always keep our ears open for off-market properties for you, as well.

Once you find the perfect home, we will walk you through the process of making an offer. In this market, it's common to not win your first (or second, or third...) offer on a property. Fear not! We have tried and tested skills and market knowledge to help you make the best offer you can and secure the home of your dreams!

As part of your contract, you put down "due diligence money." This non-refundable deposit "buys you time" to do your inspections and negotiate for any repairs that are needed. This is also when things like your appraisal and survey would happen and is the best time to walk away from your contract, should you choose to do so.

You've made it! At closing, you will sign all of your loan documents, the deed transfer, and then once the sale has recorded, you will officially be a homeowner. Congratulations!

The perfect property might not exactly come to market. I take proactive steps by calling agents, researching tax cards, and literally knocking on doors to find deals for my clients.

I proactively keep myself up to date on national trends, regional trends, and local trends. My firm has a bi weekly meeting going over recent market data. I use this knowledge to put my clients in the best position possible so they might know how they want to move forward.

I will always push for the best deal possible for my clients. With four years of experience, my experience has showed me the best way possible to reach your desired outcomes. And if I don’t know, I will call an agent in my office, and ask them.
